For me, this trade runs in the blood. I'm a third-generation wall and floor tiler — the skills were passed down through my family long before I ever picked up a trowel myself — and over the past 40 years I've built a career around doing that work properly, from first principles to a finished room.

I started out working for a company as an apprentice refurbishing bathrooms in some of London's most prestigious hotels, where the standard of finish simply wasn't negotiable. That grounding shaped how I've approached every project since: no shortcuts, no compromises on quality, and an eye for detail that comes from working in spaces where anything less wasn't an option.

Alongside my tiling background, I'm also fully qualified in domestic plumbing and along with the experience of installing 100’s of bathrooms over the years means we can install and oversee a project properly from the structural work through to the final coat of paint — one person accountable for the whole job, not a handover between trades.

I've always worked close to home, serving clients across this area for the whole of my career, and I'm proud that we now also install for some of the region's leading high-end design studios as well as homeowners directly. These days my son works alongside me in the business, which means the same standards — and the same hands-on approach — carry on into the next generation.
